Aimee Clifford, BMus
Voice Instructor
Aimee Clifford is a Southwestern Ontario-based soprano who has been performing for over two decades. With a love for music that began in early childhood, Aimee has developed a passion for teaching and is an active performer both in Chatham-Kent and throughout Ontario.
In November 2020, Aimee had the privilege of premiering the song “A Rose Blown Open” at the Vancouver Songslam in a completely virtual format and was awarded third prize alongside composer Matthew Tozer, pianist Kaito Cheung, and poet Felicia Klingenberg. Previous engagements include Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Kordazone Theater, and Theater Kent.
Comfortable and experienced in opera, art song, traditional church music, musical theater, pop, and jazz, Aimee believes in working with each individual voice to create a unique, diverse, age appropriate and adequately challenging selection of repertoire. When not singing, Aimee enjoys writing, gardening, and cooking.
